Who we are

Mhimsy & Moore is run by Yilmaz Moore, a sole trader in the UK. We decide how your information is used, which makes us its 'controller' under UK data protection law. To ask anything about your information, email hello@mhimsyandmoore.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

• Our email list. Your first name, email address and your consent. We use them to email you about Good Days and new things from us. We do this because you've agreed to it, and you can unsubscribe any time.
• Orders. Your name, email, delivery address and what you bought. We use them to take payment, send your diary and handle returns, because we need them to fill your order. We keep order records for 6 years, because UK tax law requires it.
• Messages and emails you send us. Your name, email and message. We use them to reply to you, and keep them for up to 2 years.

Who sees it

Only the services that make the shop work:

• Stripe takes payments.
• Netlify hosts this website, our email list sign-up form and our contact form.
• Zoho runs our email.
• Royal Mail sees your address on the envelope.
• Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this site, so Google sees your device's internet address when the page loads.

Some of these services may store information outside the UK. When they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires. We never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies or track you. Stripe's checkout pages use their own cookies to keep payments safe.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or move it elsewhere. You can object to how we use it, and you can withdraw your consent to emails at any time. Email hello@mhimsyandmoore.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
